PDFs (scanned or digital), photos in JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, and more, PowerPoint, Word, EPUB, web pages, CSV, and plain text or Markdown. You can also scan pages with your phone: open Import, scan the QR code, and photograph the pages.
No. Start from a blank page or a template, paste a draft from an AI chat, a web page, or an email with its formatting, or import Word, Markdown, and text files. None of that uses credits, and neither does exporting. Credits pay for reading scans, photos, and PDFs, and for AI work.
Lumidoc uses a leading OCR model that reads printed pages, tables, and equations very well, and handwriting reasonably well. Because the scan always sits beside the text, you can check any line in a moment and fix it by hand or with AI.
Reading a scanned page costs 9 credits, or 15 with Smart Cleanup. AI work such as refining, translating, asking questions, and making flashcards costs a few credits more, and the price is always shown before you start. Importing Word, web pages, EPUB, or text files is free, and so is every export.

Yes. Ask one document, and the answer comes with the page it came from. Or ask your whole library, for 3 credits a question, and nothing when no document matches.
Only when you ask it to. Smart Cleanup mends formatting and scanning errors without rewording. Everything else shows you the changes before they land, and every version is kept, so you can always go back.
Only you, unless you share a link. Links can be password-protected and set to expire on Pro, and you can turn any link off at any time. Lumidoc never sells your documents or uses them to train models.
With Google, or with a link we email you. There is no password to remember or leak.
Yes. Settings has Download everything, which gives you every document as Markdown with its images and the files you imported. You can cancel Pro at any time and keep it until the end of the period.
